Are pets allowed?
As much as we enjoy our four legged and feathered friends, our building rules prohibit animals on site.
Can I show up early to set up?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow extra time for set up and take down. Please keep this in mind when booking your studio time. Additional time in the studio will incur fees.
Can I bring my own props?
Yes, please bring whatever is needed for your photo shoot.
However, please note that open flames, pyrotechnics, smoke, and illegal substances are not allowed.
Can I record video?
Yes. Video can be recorded in both the photo and recording studios. We also have guests who prefer recording video in one of the spaces with natural light.
What’s your refund & cancellation policy?
A full refund will be issued if a booking is canceled 7 days prior to the start time.
A scheduled booking canceled up to 24 hours prior to the start time will receive a 50% refund.
Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time are not refundable.
What’s included with my photo studio rental?
Your rental includes private use of the studio with access to the on site amenities including:
• Continuous Output Dimmable Lights & Modifiers
• Backdrops & Shooting Table
• Reflectors & Tripod
• WiFi
• Kitchen with Refrigerator, Sink, and Microwave
What do I need to bring when renting the photo studio?
The lights and backdrops are provided in the studio. You simply need to bring the items to photograph and a device that takes photos. Feel free to bring additional props specific to your shoot.
What’s included with my recording studio rental?
Your rental includes private use of the studio with access to the on site equipment including the RØDECaster Pro integrated production studio, two high quality dynamic RØDE PodMics, and professional headphones. This means you can simply walk in with your creative content and start recording.
What do I need to bring when renting the recording studio?
The professional recording equipment is provided in the studio. You will bring:
• Creative content
• Something to record to – a MicroSD card or laptop with audio software
Does the photo studio have natural light?
The building is entirely surrounded by windows making it a bright environment. The photo studio, though, is an interior space allowing you to control your lighting specs. The space is equipped with three continuous output lights. Reach out to jennifer@studiooephoto.com if you are interested in booking one of our other spaces that do have natural light.
I’m recording audio. Is there much background noise in the studio?
There is virtually no street noise and minimal sound from the nearby offices. Additionally, the recording studio has sound dampening panels on the walls. The building is supplied with sound masking which creates a soft hum. If you would like to test the sound quality, please come in for a tour prior to booking studio time.
What are your studio hours?
Studio hours are 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Reach out to jennifer@studiooephoto.com if an after hours booking is preferred.
Can I host an event or workshop?
Definitely! We have meeting rooms on site, if a space larger than the studio is needed. To get started, fill out this form.
